This is a wheel bowl that is about 5 inches tall and 4 inches wide. It has a smooth surface and is dark green. I glazed it by dipping it because I wanted it to all be the same color. The new skill I learned was pulling up because I managed to make this bowl taller than my previous one. That was my goal when making this. The art element I used is value because it looks different depending on the light. The design element I used is balance because everything is balanced and simple, nothing really stands out. The meaning of this is a nature feel due to the dark green color similar to what you would find in the forest.

This is a wheel bowl that is about 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. It has a smooth surface and is blue. I glazed it by dipping it in the blue. It is a simple bowl so I wanted a simple color. One new skill I learned was centering. I practiced centering last year, but this was my first project I have made since then so I had to learn again. One art element that I used is value. I made it so there is light and dark spots of blue around the bowl. It is darker in some areas than others because I applied more glaze. A design element that I used is unity because everything goes together really well and nothing really stands out. The importance of this bowl is that it is very calming with the color blue.
I officially finished my coil pot by glazing it and designing it to match the WSU theme.
